ACF Animal Rescue

The Ayesha Chundrigar Foundation (ACF Animal Rescue) is a non-profit organisation registered in 2013 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It operates Pakistan's first-of-its-kind animal shelter in Karachi, caring for injured and ill stray animals including dogs, cats, and kites, as well as working animals such as donkeys, horses, and camels.

ACF responds to 20–40 emergency rescue calls across Karachi every day and has rescued over 35,000 animals to date, caring for approximately 1,800 at any one time. Alongside direct rescue and rehabilitation, ACF runs community education programmes in schools and public spaces, vaccination and sterilisation drives, and outreach camps for working animals at markets and beaches.

ACF has recently purchased 2.25 acres of land in Karachi to build Pakistan's first permanent animal sanctuary — a dedicated forever home for the animals in their care. The organisation is registered with Benevity, making it eligible for corporate donation matching.
