Why this is a scam: This organisation solicits donations through Facebook and Instagram using emotionally manipulative videos of sick and injured animals. Investigations by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and multiple US state attorneys general found that the vast majority of funds raised go to paid advertising and the personal accounts of the operators, not to animal care.
The organisation has no verifiable physical address, no registered charity number, no IRS 501(c)(3) status, and no independent audit. Animals featured in their fundraising videos have been traced back to legitimate shelters in Eastern Europe that were not affiliated with the organisation in any way. Several US states have issued formal cease-and-desist orders.
